As human beings many of us have a competitive spirit. This competitive spirit will drive women to search for the perfect man, the perfect hairstylist, or that perfect outfit with hopes to shine the most.
As men we want the strongest engine in our old school car, the most elaborate home and the finest lady at our side. We may want to have the strongest physical appearance and the flyest dress style.
If you could win a World Cup, NBA championship ring, the Man or Woman of your dreams, Super bowl ring, 1 grammy, BET Award, Tony award, and an Oscar would that fulfill your earthly desire?
You need a little more icing on the cake? AND you also had 50 million in your bank account of pure profit from the business venture of your choice…Sounds accomplished doesn’t it? Maybe even complete overkill, but you get the point.
Lets read the scriptures below together.
1 Corinthians 10:23-24
The Believer’s Freedom
“I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive. No one should seek their own good, but the good of others.
1 Corinthians 9:25
Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last, but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
What good is it for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul
As we move forth in our lives getting older and hopefully wiser. What is more important to you? Crowns that will not last, or the crown that will last forever?
Peace be with you all💯🕆🛐
