Greetings and God Bless Each of You!
Have you ever been around friends, family or associates and felt like an outsider? or that you just did not fit with the group? In this frame of mind we may try our best to appeal to the crowd we are in the prescence of. No matter what you do, your life puzzle piece just does not fit inside this time frame? At times in life God will put you in that uncomfortable, lonely place to draw you closer to him. We as Christ followers know we are never alone/forsaken for God clearly tells us in the scripture below
Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
With the faith inside our souls increasing we must trust, believe, and stand on our Rock (God) when “Outsider” feelings come upon us.
Rather than trying to “dumb it down” or “bougie it up” to be who you think people want you to be, do you, and let the God in you shine. The reality of this situation is that the same people you are altering yourself for, are altering themselves to appeal to you as well. This cycle of “fakeness” is destructive and constantly keeps people against each other because they are constantly striving to outshine one another. Strive to be God made, not man made for man will disappoint you everytime.
Psalm 146:3 Do not put your trust in princes,in human beings, who cannot save
Romans 12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
God Bless You and Keep You Always,
